Medtronic plc is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for U.S. and Canadian import operations. You will reconcile costs, prepare reports, and drive process improvements to enhance financial controls and visibility. The role emphasizes collaboration with finance, brokers, and business stakeholders.

The position requires strong Excel and BI skills, experience with import processes, and the ability to support month-end close and audits. Office-based with a minimum four days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience OR advanced degree with 2+ years in import/finance roles.
• Experience reconciling financial records, invoices, entries, refunds or debits.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query/Power Pivot and large datasets.
• Experience creating Power BI reports or similar BI tools.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and reconcile customs duties, taxes, fees, and broker invoices.
• Investigate billing discrepancies; drive resolution with partners.
• Maintain schedules, ledgers, audit docs for recoverable costs and credits.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor import spend and performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and cost-recovery opportunities.
• Support month-end close, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with Finance, brokers, and stakeholders to improve data integrity.
• Contribute to automation and process-improvement projects.
• Provide training and cross-functional guidance on import/compliance.
• Perform other projects or tasks as assigned.
