Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking an US Import Compliance Analyst to support supply chain activities across North American locations. You will ensure compliance with import regulations, manage permits, and monitor brokerage performance.

The role involves project management for US import launches, cost analysis, and audits to improve efficiency. Onsite work at Pleasant Prairie, WI or other US sites is required, with priority for candidates in Illinois or Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with customs, FDA, and DEA regulations and processes.
• Experience handling import documentation and regulatory databases.
• Ability to monitor external partners and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to formal control procedures and training, ensuring import regulations are met within operations.
• Monitor and audit the regulatory filing performance of external partners providing import brokerage services.
• Timely management of the Import operational Inbox and service levels for internal and external customers.
• Review shipment documentation for compliance and provide instructions/approvals.
• Assist in obtaining import permits (USDA, DEA) with the appropriate departments.
• Liaise with customs brokers to ensure accuracy of documentation and declarations.
• Maintain Trade Master Data and databases; classify products for HTS, ECCN, COO, FDA Affiliation, etc.
• Manage archival records of import entry packets.
• Support high-profile US imports launches with Demand Planning and TPM departments.
• Identify regulatory inquiries and escalate to management for reviews.
• Process monthly cost allocations for duties/fees with US Customs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze import brokerage and transport networks to optimize costs and service levels.
• Prepare analytical results for management reviews.
