Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to senior management and logistics leadership.

The role will involve month-end closings, forecasting, branch performance analysis, and training on financial tools and procedures. You will work with the Director of Operations, Director of Sales, and Director of Rental to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 2+ to 4+ years of experience in a corporate Finance Department or consulting firm is required.
• 5+ years post MBA is preferred.
• Must be proficient with computers, including MS Office at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing including journal entries and GL research.
• Collaborate with DOO, DOS and DOR to identify cost/productivity improvements.
• Conduct FP&A activities including forecasting and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls.
• Serve as liaison between Business Units, Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
