Tractor Supply Company in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to develop models and reporting mechanisms that provide financial insights to executive finance leadership and support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A consolidations. You will analyze performance across functions, evaluate promotions and merchandising programs, and prepare period-end analyses for key initiatives.

Strong Excel, BI tools, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 4–6 years of related business or retail experience.
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to leadership across Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing by analyzing performance and developing actionable recommendations.
• Evaluate the financial impact of promotions, marketing events, seasonal initiatives, and merchandising programs across stores, geographies, and categories.
• Prepare, maintain, and communicate recurring sales, gross margin, and financial forecasts; analyze actual results versus forecast and budget; identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform research and analysis of sales trends, customer behavior, category performance, and external drivers to inform forecasts and decisions.
• Prepare and present period-end analyses for initiatives like Big Ticket, Private Label, Inventory Valuation, and Direct Imports.
• Conduct and present special financial and statistical studies with other departments.
• Support annual strategic planning and budgeting by validating key assumptions with business partners.
