Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Pricing Analyst to drive pricing strategy, analytics, and financial reporting across categories and channels. You will work with senior pricing leaders to monitor sales, margin, and inventory turnover while forecasting the impact of pricing actions.

Responsibilities include analyzing competitor pricing, modeling financial outcomes, and leading special pricing projects. The role requires strong Excel, BI, and pricing software expertise in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

Advanced Excel skills required.
Ability to build sophisticated financial and statistical models, analyze data, and translate analysis into action.
Proficient in mastering complex software platforms for BI, pricing analytics, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales and margin performance and interpret customer and competitor behavior to guide strategic pricing across categories and channels.
Determine and recommend optimal clearance markdowns with forecasts of changes in sales, margin, and unit demand.
Enter and execute price changes into SAP and price optimization tools.
Develop and maintain analyses for monitoring financial results vs. budget and LY across all sales types.
Examine cost as a driver of price and collaborate with Buying teams as SME on price and cost.
