Tractor Supply seeks a Senior Data Scientist for Merchandising Analytics to model complex business problems, build predictive models, and drive data-driven decision making across the Merchandising organization.

You will lead cross-functional projects, translate results into actionable insights, and help govern data architecture and pipelines, collaborating with data engineering and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in predictive modeling, data science, advanced analytics, using CRM or high-volume transaction data to drive insights.
• Experience translating business challenges into data-driven solutions in Retail, CPG, or Marketing Analytics.
• Proven track record leading data-driven projects from definition to execution and influencing roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve predictive models using Python, R, and Databricks.
• Extract and transform data from internal and external sources to build robust data science solutions.
• Design and implement A/B testing frameworks with statistical rigor.
• Translate predictive modeling outputs into actionable insights for merchandising, pricing, and operations.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and leadership to define KPIs and deliverables.
