Job summary

You will develop forecasts with operating company teams and validate assumptions using corporate models.

The role includes analyzing monthly and quarterly results, identifying rate change recommendations, and presenting earnings drivers to senior management and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferred majors include accounting, finance, economics, business administration or engineering.
• 4+ years of work experience in the disciplines mentioned in the education requirement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, UI Financial Model, PeopleSoft, and Business Objects.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and comfortably with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and formulate financial forecasts with operating company personnel using corporate models.
• Perform monthly/quarterly variance reporting and analysis to improve forecasts.
• Identify needed customer rate changes and advise on timing and amount.
• Track forecasts for operating company, segment, and consolidated results and present earnings drivers to senior management.
• Develop strategic evaluations of corporate opportunities and recommend actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings and revenue enhancement.
