Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or engineering.
• 4+ years of work experience in the disciplines mentioned in the education requirement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, UI Financial Model, PeopleSoft, and Business Objects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial forecasts in conjunction with operating company personnel using corporate models and identify significant strategic issues and contingency plans.
• Perform monthly/quarterly variance reporting and analysis of budget vs. actual results and actual vs. prior year results to improve forecasts.
• Identify needed customer rate changes and make recommendations for timing and amount.
• Track and evaluate forecasts across operating companies, segments, and consolidated results and present earnings drivers to senior management.
• Develop strategic evaluations of corporate opportunities and recommend based on results.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings and revenue enhancement.
