Job summary

Sphera is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will play an integral role in forecasting, planning, and reporting for the Company’s Services/Consulting business. You will maintain and improve BI infrastructure, monthly KPI reporting, and financial reporting to support leadership and the financial sponsor.

This role requires strong analytical skills, experience building Alteryx workflows and Power BI reports, advanced Excel modeling, and the ability to deliver ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 2–4 years in public accounting or 3–5 years as financial analyst.
• Fluency in Alteryx and Power BI required.
• Advanced Excel with strong modeling; intermediate PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Finance data & analytics; maintain Alteryx workflows and Power BI reports.
• Prepare financial and operational KPIs (bookings, pipeline, ASP) and identify opportunities to improve results.
• Assist annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for Services/Consulting; analyze results vs budgets and re-forecast as needed.
• Construct financial models for recurring forecasting, budgeting, and pro-forma scenario planning.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly executive and Board presentations.
• Support M&A post-acquisition data integration of financial data and systems.
• Ad-hoc deep dives on key business issues across the Company.
