Job summary

The Boeing Company in Florida is seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to support the Space Launch System financial operations. The role focuses on cost management, earned value, and monthly reporting for NASA programs at Kennedy Space Center.

You will develop baselines, perform EACs, and coordinate with finance, engineering, and programs leadership. Relocation assistance is available; the role is onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• 3+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• 3+ years of experience with financial tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivots).

Responsibilities

• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends.
• Develops resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for Control Accounts, budgets, functions or pools, contracts or programs
• Partners with other members of the Finance team, Industrial Engineering, Scheduling and Operations
• Prepares monthly financial reporting, both internal and external
• Compiles data from multiple sources and develops performance reports
• Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management
• Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
• Provides daily and weekly cost reporting utilizing Earned Value Management
• Participates in and supports affordability initiatives and exercises
