Job summary

Boeing in Kennedy Space Center, Florida is seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to join the Defense and Space Space Launch System (SLS) Financial Operations team. The role focuses on financial and cost management analysis to support senior leadership decisions and program reviews.

This on-site position requires collaboration across Finance, Industrial Engineering, Scheduling and Operations, and preparation of briefing materials for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• 3+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• 3+ years of experience working with financial tools.
• 3+ years of work experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivots).

Responsibilities

• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance baselines, including earned value and variance analyses.
• Develops resource forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for Control Accounts, budgets, functions or pools, contracts or programs.
• Prepares monthly financial reporting, both internal and external.
• Compiles data from multiple sources and develops performance reports.
• Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of financial performance to management.
