Job summary

On Location is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant, Core, to support the Travel Services business and the broader FP&A function. You will develop forecasts, budgets and management reports, partnering with Controllership to drive profitability and insightful decision-making across events.

The role requires advanced financial modeling, strong Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite/SAP and BI tools. A business-partner mindset and ability to work with senior leaders are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or analytics.
• Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA a plus.
• Experience in live events, hospitality, sports, or entertainment preferred.
• Strong understanding of close processes, P&L structures and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and management reports for the Travel Services portfolio.
• Perform variance analysis vs. plan, prior year, and latest forecast, delivering actionable insights.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with variance explanations.
• Build and enhance financial models for travel programs, hospitality packages, and events.
• Own program and event profitability reporting; monitor revenue, cost drivers, and margins.
• Partner with Controllership on accruals and policy adherence.
• Create standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel/BI dashboards.
• Support revenue recognition considerations (principal vs. agent).
