Job summary

On Location is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant, Core to support Travel Services and the broader FP&A function. You will deliver accurate financial information, build models, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve profitability across events and programs.

The role requires strong analytics, advanced Excel, and experience with ERP systems. You will interact with senior finance leadership and contribute to strategic decisions in a fast-paced organization.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA a plus.
Experience in live events, hospitality, sports, or entertainment businesses strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of financial close processes, P&L structures, cost allocation, and profitability drivers.
Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with BI/dashboarding tools and ERP systems a plus.
Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Experience producing executive-ready deliverables for senior leadership.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets, and management reports for Travel Services.
Perform variance analysis vs. plan, prior year, and latest forecast; deliver insights.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with variance explanations.
Build and enhance financial models for travel programs and event operations.
Own program and event-level profitability reporting; monitor revenue and margins.
Partner with Controllership to ensure proper accounting treatment and accruals.
Identify and drive process improvements; create standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
Support contract analysis and revenue recognition considerations with senior finance staff.
Contribute to systems and reporting initiatives; improve data integrity and controls.
Support special projects related to revenue enhancement and margin optimization.
Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods; participate in month-end close.
Ensure finance has a key seat at strategic decisions with financial impact.
