Job summary
ICF Olson is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support a portfolio of energy and utility projects in the Pacific Time Zone, with potential remote work. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multi-project programs, partnering with senior finance and project teams.
Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel and Power BI, and experience with energy efficiency programs are valued. Some travel to Southern California may be required for quarterly meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 5+ years experience supporting or leading finance work across portfolios.
- 2+ years owning financial analysis in multi-project environments.
Responsibilities
- Own financial outcomes for portfolio including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare internal and client-facing forecasts and variance reports.
- Monitor financial drivers such as labor, subcontractors, and accruals.
- Translate financial data into decision-quality insights and actions.
- Collaborate with Finance leadership and program teams.
- Improve processes with stronger reviews, documentation and automation.
