Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a DEAMS Financial Senior Analyst to join our team in Dayton, OH and other U.S. locations, supporting SAF/FMFO Accounting Policy & Operations for AF Major Commands and Space Force Field Commands.

The role involves analyzing and reconciling open balances, and providing data-driven support across defense accounting systems such as DEAMS and CDS. Applicants should have at least 3 years of AF Financial Management/DEAMS experience and be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Air Force Financial Management and DEAMS experience.
• Ability to analyze financial data using Excel and PowerBI.
• Experience in AF Funds Control, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, GPC, Treasury Reporting, and/or Working Capital Funds.
• Detailed familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Navigate AF accounting systems and feeder systems to validate data entries.
• Handle Help Desk tickets inquiries and metrics review.
• Provide ad hoc and on-the-job training to AF Financial Managers via phone, video-teleconference, webinar, or on-site visit.
• Provide support to SAF/FMF teams, e.g., surge and end-of-year processes.
• Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics and data analysis.
