Job summary

Leoforce in Visalia, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our healthcare-focused finance team. This permanent, in-office role provides strategic support to shape our organization’s financial planning and decision-making.

The candidate will advance budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and profitability analyses, leveraging Hyperion/EPM and collaborating with leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare.
  • Expertise in budgeting, variance analysis, financial analysis, strategic planning, cost analysis, KPI reporting.
  • Proficiency with Hyperion/EPM or similar software.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; able to explain complex data clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, interpret, and implement complex financial concepts for planning and control.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine current and future performance.
  • Document and explain financial information for management and non-financial staff.
  • Prepare and manage the organization's budget, forecast trends, and perform variance analysis.
  • Develop financial models and provide analytical support for business development and strategy.
  • Work on revenue cycle activities including billing, collections, and analysis.
  • Perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
  • Assist in business case development and profitability analysis.
  • Prepare KPI reports for executive leadership.
  • Utilize Hyperion/EPM for planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations and standards.

Qualifications
  • 1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • 3. Strong knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis, financial analysis, strategic planning, cost analysis, business case development, KPI reporting, revenue cycle, healthcare finance, cost reporting, profitability analysis.
  • 4. Proficiency in Hyperion/EPM or similar financial software.
  • 5. Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • 6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • 7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • 8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • 9. Knowledge of the healthcare industry's financial regulations and standards is a plus.
