Job summary

Ascension is seeking a healthcare finance professional to support monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for a Tulsa-area market. The role focuses on physician compensation, operational performance, and capital planning within a remote or flexible setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare finance, preferably within a medical group or physician practice environment.
• Experience with physician compensation analysis, financial pro forma development, capital budgeting, and advanced Excel-based financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial close activities, financial reporting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
• Develop and monitor clinic-level operating budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in collaboration with medical group leadership.
• Provide financial analysis and support for physician compensation arrangements, productivity, and related operational performance.
• Develop financial pro formas for physician employment models, PSAs, and strategic initiatives, while supporting capital planning and budgeting.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Support monthly financial close activities, financial reporting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
• Develop and monitor clinic-level operating budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in collaboration with medical group leadership.
• Provide financial analysis and support for physician compensation arrangements, productivity, and related operational performance.
• Develop financial pro formas for physician employment models, Professional Services Agreements (PSAs), and strategic initiatives, while supporting capital planning and budgeting.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:

• Experience in healthcare finance, preferably within a medical group or physician practice environment, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
• Experience with physician compensation analysis, financial pro forma development, capital budgeting, and advanced Excel-based financial modeling, along with familiarity with Google Sheets and Oracle.
