Job summary

Shift4 is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with FP&A and Treasury, driving financial performance through detailed analysis, modeling, and reporting. You will support senior leadership, optimize processes, and help shape strategic decisions.

This hybrid role is onsite at Center Valley, PA with one remote day. Expect 6+ years in financial analysis or corporate finance, with advanced Excel and Tableau skills; Python/R/SQL are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau; experience with Python, R, SQL is strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial results, forecasts, and budgets.
• Build and maintain advanced financial models to assess performance and scenarios.
• Monitor KPIs, trends, and metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Present findings to executive management and the Board when appropriate.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive process improvements in reporting and analysis.

Onsite 4 days a week at the Center Valley, PA office with 1 day remote.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis Lead the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial results, forecasts, and budgets for assigned business units. Build and maintain advanced financial models to assess business performance, evaluate scenarios, and support strategic decision-making. Monitor KPIs, financial trends, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights.Strategic Partnership & Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with senior leaders to translate operational and market data into actionable business insights. Present key findings and recommendations to executive management and, when appropriate, the Board of Directors. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and margin improvement.Process Excellence & Team Development Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts to strengthen team capabilities. Implement process improvements in reporting and analysis to increase efficiency and accuracy. Stay current on industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics to support business strategy.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred. 6+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and financial modeling. Experience with Python, R, SQL, or other analytical tools for large data sets strongly preferred. Strong business acumen with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders. Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for varied audiences.
