Experience supporting month‑end close, billing cycles, merchant reporting, pricing logic, fee configuration, or financial reporting. Experience mentoring engineers or serving as a senior technical reviewer for application and data engineering work. Experience with observability, logging, alerting, performance tuning, and production incident response. Payments, restaurant technology, POS, merchant acquiring, or revenue operations experience is a plus.
Financial systems applications are more reliable, maintainable, and easier to support. Critical financial data flows are accurate, documented, validated, and scalable. Front‑end work has stronger technical review, cleaner integration patterns, and better long‑term maintainability.
