Job summary

Aerio Partners is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its manufacturing finance team in Phoenix, onsite. This plant-facing role partners with plant leaders on budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, KPI reporting, and performance improvement initiatives.

You will translate operational activity into financial insights, support month-end close, and drive cost savings and productivity across the plant. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in FP&A or operations finance in a manufacturing setting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, operations finance, manufacturing finance, plant finance, or cost analysis.
• Experience in a manufacturing/plant/supply chain environment preferred.
• Strong cost driver, labor analysis, KPI, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• ERP, BI, or dashboarding experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to partner with non-finance colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Aerio Partners is partnering with a global consumer goods and manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for its manufacturing finance team.

This is a plant-facing finance role supporting manufacturing leadership and day-to-day operational decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner directly with plant and operations leaders on budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, KPI reporting, and performance improvement initiatives.

This is not a traditional corporate FP&A role. This position is embedded in the business and requires someone who can understand what is happening operationally, explain the financial impact, and help leadership make better decisions around cost, productivity, labor, capacity, and overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and operating review processes
• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, productivity, capacity, and plant-level KPIs
• Partner directly with plant leadership to evaluate operating performance and financial results
• Identify cost savings opportunities, efficiency improvements, and process gaps
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Translate operational activity into clear financial insights and recommendations
• Support plant performance improvement initiatives and finance transformation efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, accounting, and finance teams
• Help improve planning processes, reporting cadence, and financial visibility across the plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, manufacturing finance, plant finance, or cost analysis
• Experience in a manufacturing, plant, distribution, supply chain, or operations-heavy environment preferred
• Strong understanding of cost drivers, labor analysis, operational KPIs, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• ERP, BI, or dashboarding experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with non-finance business partners
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of results
