We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team, and support a rapidly growing division.
This is not a reporting-only analyst position. The Senior Financial Analyst will have broad exposure across the P&L, supporting approximately $500M in revenue across several locations while partnering closely with commercial, operational and finance leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual planning process, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, timeline coordination, and consolidation of business plans.
- Assist with recurring forecasts by updating financial models, evaluating potential risks and opportunities, and improving forecast accuracy.
- Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identify key drivers behind variances, and partner with stakeholders on potential actions.
- Compile and analyze financial and operational data related to revenue, margins, costs, pricing, customer and product profitability, and broader market trends.
- Support month-end activities and provide meaningful analysis of financial results to business leaders.
- Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operational, and other business teams to develop plans, evaluate results, and understand key performance drivers.
- Prepare and maintain recurring financial and management reporting to support business decision-making.
- Develop and improve analytical tools used to evaluate performance across products, customers, geographic areas, and other business segments.
- Look for opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, including reporting and technology enhancements, business integrations, and other organizational priorities.
Desired Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of FP&A, operational finance or corporate finance experience
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
- Experience working across the P&L
- Manufacturing or similarly complex industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical and business-partnering skills
- Bachelor's degree required
