Role Overview

This position plays a vital support role by providing accurate and timely financial information, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and partnering with clinical operations to enhance financial insights. The successful candidate will have a strong financial analytical background and will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of various financial statement components, analyzing clinical volumes and financial data, and creating data infrastructure for deeper analysis at each service line level. The role involves working closely with clinical operations to ensure financials and projections align with year-end targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare, and analyze monthly volume and financial reporting for Medical Center Hospital and Clinical Network sites.
2. Proactively identify and analyze business issues and opportunities, providing recommendations for future actions.
3. Review financial statements with an in-depth month-end review involving key stakeholders to ensure financial performance accuracy.
4. Support management in preparing presentations for Leadership and the Board of Directors, including ad-hoc analyses and dashboard/data infrastructure maintenance.
5. Coordinate multiple deliverables and collaborate across teams to ensure financial statement accuracy.
6. Work with clinical operations to identify actionable strategies to improve financial performance.
7. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance.

Preferred:

• Skills in SQL, Tableau/Power BI, RStudio, Python, Excel Power Queries.
