Job summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor III to manage scholarship programs and oversee all related processes. You will coordinate selection, determine eligibility, and handle account management for scholarship awards, reporting to the Director of Financial Aid.

The role includes outreach efforts to students and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure compliant, timely aid processing and effective marketing of scholarships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal/state financial aid policies and regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work autonomously.
• Proficiency with technology and information systems in enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer financial aid for Workforce Pell-eligible programs.
• Review eligibility, monitor enrollment, attendance, and progress.
• Coordinate with workforce and academic divisions for accurate data.
• Process student loans, track disbursement, and monitor compliance.
• Gather information to assess student circumstances and interpret policies.
• Provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced office (online, phone, in-person).
• Respond to inquiries and provide information on aid, scholarships, and processes.
• Perform data entry, aid calculations, and assist with fund reconciliation.
• Assist with award packaging and notify students of aid awards.
