Job summary

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College is seeking a hands-on outreach and program administrator to manage scholarship programs, including materials, committee coordination, eligibility determinations, and account management, reporting to the Director of Financial Aid.

The role supports scholarship marketing and outreach to current and prospective students, handles high-volume inquiries, ensures accurate data, and collaborates with Workforce and Academic divisions to support student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations is preferred.
• MS Office and relevant applications proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer financial aid for Workforce Pell-eligible programs.
• Review student eligibility and maintain required documentation; monitor enrollment, attendance, and progress.
• Coordinate with workforce and academic divisions to ensure accurate student information and reporting.
• Process student loans, track disbursement, and monitor compliance with SOR regulations.
• Gather information from students to evaluate circumstances and determine best action.
• Provide comprehensive customer service in a high-volume environment (online, phone, in-person).
• Answer inquiries and provide information on financial aid, scholarships, WRKS, SAP, and related topics.
• Perform data entry, query review, aid calculation, and assist with fund reconciliation and award notifications.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
