Job summary

South University is seeking a detailed and motivated financial aid professional to process high volumes of loan applications, ISIR verifications, and fund disbursements. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with Title IV regulations while delivering quality service to students and families.

You will review ISIRs, award institutional grants, assist with tuition vouchers, and coordinate with campus and staff to maintain accurate financial aid records.

Qualifications

• 3 years of financial aid experience required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Title IV regulations relating to student financial aid processing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with both executive and school staff.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel and general computing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Award student financial aid based on the student funding plan, including Title IV loans, Pell, and FSEOG.
• Award Institutional grants based on MOUs and award Employee Tuition Assistance vouchers.
• Review ISIRs for conflicting information and perform verification on ISIRs.
• Clear C-codes on ISIR and review Post Screen ISIRs.
• Process daily batching and posting of funds; return Title IV calculations and institutional refunds.
• Review accounts for canceled students and proceed with Pell awards after enrollment level.
• Email Initial and Secondary Education plans for VA students.
