Job summary

Moneybox is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to anchor complex pension and drawdown cases, guiding Advisers and shaping advice outputs. You will ensure plans are suitable and compliant while coaching others and supporting the Advice Engine.

You will lead video consultations, handle escalations, and drive high-quality outcomes for retirement planning, in a remote role with strong team culture and impact.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (QCF Level 4) or equivalent with significant pensions qualifications (AF7) required.
• Substantial post-qualification experience as a regulated advisor delivering retirement and at-retirement advice.
• Deep knowledge of UK pensions, drawdown, tax-free cash sequencing, ISAs and pension tax treatment.
• Demonstrable experience with QA, file checking or T&C supervision.
• Comfortable operating in a restricted advice environment and able to explain the boundary between advice and guidance.
• Fluent with the Consumer Duty regime and evidence of good customer outcomes.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartered Financial Planner (desirable).
• Experience in automated/robo-advice or hybrid environments (desirable).
• Experience contributing to House Rules, advice models or other advice logic (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Running video consultations, collecting information & establishing customer goals, walking customers through their plan, answering questions and helping them feel confident about their next steps.
• Handle the most complex escalations from the support team - vulnerable customers, customers with multiple pension pots, customers where suitability needs to be carefully assessed.
• Make final calls on whether a customer should be off-ramped from the service, documenting the rationale clearly.
• Respond to customers flagged as insistent, doing the right thing for the customer while protecting them and the firm.
