Job summary

Moneybox is seeking a Senior Paraplanner to act as the technical engine room of our advice service. You’ll ensure that engine outputs, fact finds and case context are translated into clearly evidenced, coherent, and compliant documentation for customers.

You’ll lead the Paraplanning team in complex cases, coach junior paraplanners, and collaborate with Advisors, the Head of Proposition and the AMS product team to evolve templates, workflows and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Substantial paraplanning experience in a regulated advice firm, ideally including pension consolidation and drawdown cases.
• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) with appetite to keep building qualifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions, ISAs, investment products, and their tax treatments.
• Genuine high bar for written quality—reports should be clear and customer-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex cases, especially pension consolidation and drawdown, preparing the case before advice is presented to the customer.
• Ensure engine-generated plans have accurate, complete and readable suitability reports with clear objectives, costs, and rationale.
• Run pre-meeting case reviews with Advisors to catch issues before customer calls.
• Coach and develop junior paraplanners and contribute to team training and development.
