The Senior Financial Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of general ledger activity across multiple entities.

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting & Analysis, this role owns complex balance sheet and fixed asset accounting areas, reviews journal entries and reconciliations, supports monthly close and audit activities, and develops accounting procedures and SOPs.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, disposals, depreciation, and subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation.

Aufgaben

• Assist monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, including complex and high-risk accounts, ensuring reconciling items are properly researched, documented, and resolved timely.
• Assist the reconciliation of fixed asset accounts, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, construction-in-progress, and reconciliation between the fixed asset subledger and general ledger.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by Financial Analysts for accuracy, completeness, proper supporting documentation, and timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Assist with review of General Journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics for appropriate accounting treatment, supporting documentation, account coding, legal entity, department, and compliance with established accounting policies.
• Prepare and record complex adjusting, accrual, and reclassification journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
