Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst in Corporate Accounting to support period-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will analyze financial statements, identify variances, and partner with teams to improve processes.

The role emphasizes strong GAAP knowledge, SOX control maintenance, ERP systems (Oracle) and tools like Power BI. Public company or banking experience is preferred, with CPA/MBA a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
CPA or MBA is a plus but not required.
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
Experience in publicly traded company, bank, or wealth management preferred.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX.

Responsibilities

Support period-end close and journal entries.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and analyses.
Analyze Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts; report variances.
Collaborate with partners to resolve accounting matters.
Drive process improvements using automation and data analytics.
Maintain SOX documentation and support audit requests.
Other duties as assigned.
