The Clark Agency Recruiters is partnering with a growing Metro Detroit real estate investment and property management firm to find a Senior Financial Accountant who can take full ownership of the financial function. This role focuses on accurate reporting, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, controls, and strategic decision-making across ~70 properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills.
• Real estate or construction accounting experience is a big plus.
• CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Extremely organized and comfortable taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-entity and property-level accounting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Forecast cash flow and plan capital needs.
• Track renovation budgets and cost overruns.
• Analyze property, maintenance, contractor, and vendor costs.
