The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in Framingham, MA. This role partners with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and other finance teams to ensure timely close and accurate financial reporting.

You will prepare financial statements, manage accruals, lead SOX controls, and support SEC filings. Excellent analytical, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounting/Audit/Finance experience.
• US GAAP knowledge and financial statement analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and schedules (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Prepare journal entries, including complex accruals.
• Prepare account reconciliations with variance resolution.
• Mentor Financial Accountants; onboard interns/co-ops.
• Lead annual true-ups forecasting and present to senior management.
• Collaborate with Global Finance teams and operating groups.
• Analyze trends and update forecasts; drive improvements.
• Prepare executive presentations for discussions with executives.
• Ensure transactions comply with US GAAP and perform SOX controls.
• Prepare SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Annual Report).
• Research new accounting standards and competitor disclosures.
• Prepare benefit plan financial statements and participate in audits.
• Lead XBRL tagging reviews as required.
