Job summary

ASSA ABLOY in Milan, Tennessee, seeks a Senior Accountant to perform advanced accounting and financial analysis, support close processes, internal controls, and audits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting accuracy and process efficiency.

The role requires a CPA/CMA or MBA with 5+ years in accounting, preferably in manufacturing, and is an onsite position with a salary range of $65,000–$85,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Master's degree, CPA or CMA preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze financial statements, operating results, trends, and variances.
• Prepare management reporting packages, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
• Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
• Assist with annual tax packages and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, analyses, and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and segregation-of-duty standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop standardized and ad hoc reports and Excel dashboards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
