ASSA ABLOY is hiring a Junior Accountant for our Service Centers team at the Milan, Tennessee facility. You will assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close to support accurate financial reporting.

You will work under the Controller, ensure GAAP compliance, and help improve data quality and accounting processes across departments. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential, with JD Edwards/Power BI experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of accounting or related experience; internship experience considered.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Complete balance sheet, bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and help resolve accounting issues.
• Support month-end close and other closing activities within deadlines.
• Prepare analyses and supporting schedules for financial reporting and audits.
