ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform advanced accounting and financial analysis, support financial reporting, close activities, internal controls, audits, and process improvements at our Milan, Tennessee site. You will work under the General Accounting Manager to evaluate accounting matters and provide recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree, MAcc, MBA, CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Payroll and accounts payable experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as MACPAC, JD Edwards, Power BI, Business Objects, HFM, or OneStream preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure transactions comply with GAAP and company policies.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other key balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze financial statements, operating results, trends, and variances.
• Prepare management reporting packages, financial presentations, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
• Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
