Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB in Milan, Tennessee, seeks a Senior Accountant to perform advanced accounting, financial analysis, and close processes. You will support internal controls, audits, and process improvements while maintaining GL integrity and GAAP compliance.

The role requires manufacturing accounting experience, ERP proficiency, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected as part of a dynamic, growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s degree, MAcc, MBA, CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Payroll and accounts payable experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems (MACPAC, JD Edwards, Power BI, BO, HFM, OneStream).
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and schedules.
• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze statements, trends, and variances; create dashboards and ad hoc analyses.
• Assist with tax packages and regulatory reporting.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
