Job description

The Senior Financial Accountant will produce accurate financials and own the narrative behind them, supporting leadership with data‑driven insights for better decision‑making.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial reporting & close— Own assigned areas of the monthly close; deliver accurate, on‑time financials with variance commentary that explains the why.
• Analysis & insight— Build recurring and ad‑hoc analysis (Excel/Power Query, Power BI, NetSuite). Surface trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership before you’re asked.
• Payables & controls— Carry a defined share of the payables workload with strong controls discipline (segregation of duties, payee validation, vendor setup).
• Process & systems— Contribute to our NetSuite implementation and post‑go‑live refinement; build automation that removes manual drag.
• Cross‑coverage— Serve as a backup in an adjacent critical function so the team has depth everywhere it matters.
• Owner mindset— Treat every dollar and every interaction the way an owner would.

Schedule & Benefits

• Full time: Monday‑Friday, 7am – 4:30pm

Job Requirements

• Accounting or finance degree; CPA or CPA‑track strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; multi‑entity exposure a plus.
• Strong technical toolkit: Excel/Power Query and Power BI; ERP experience (NetSuite a plus).
• Proven ability to translate data into a clear narrative for non‑finance leaders.
• Self‑starter who follows through — owns the work end‑to‑end.
