Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior, Finance Transformation in the United States to drive finance operating model design and transformations for Power & Utilities clients. You will partner with senior leadership to embed improvements, support sustainability, and deliver value through innovative technology and processes.

You will co-create strategies to empower CFOs, design future-proof operating models, and lead comprehensive Finance Transformation programs across diverse client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in consulting and Power & Utilities industry required.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle or Power Plan applications.
• Ability to develop business cases and digital strategies.
• Awareness of finance compliance and regulation.
• Ability to assess finance quality, maturity, efficiency and operational risk.
• Experience designing operating models and transformation roadmaps.
• Commitment to finance sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design finance operating models and governance structures.
• Improve finance processes and optimize FP&A, close, consolidation and reporting.
• Design and implement shared services and global business services.
• Provide outsourcing advisory support to clients.
• Lead financial planning and analysis activities.
• Oversee finance systems and intelligent automation initiatives.
• Manage procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes.
• Oversee asset and project accounting and related reporting.
• Understand utility billing, CIS, GLs, and revenue models.
• Engage with clients, lead workshops and maintain project timelines.
• Travel 60–80% as needed for client work.
