Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Risk Manager – Finance to lead risk and control activities within the Enterprise Risk Management framework, partnering with the Finance division to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. • Bachelor’s degree required (business, finance or accounting preferred).
• 5+ years of risk management experience required.
• Experience building and influencing cross-functional stakeholder relationships to drive alignment and results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system-thinking skills with a track record of solving complex business challenges.
• Effective communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute Finance risk and control activities per the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program.
• Perform critical business risk assessments and maintain risk inventories.
• Develop knowledge of division processes, policies and ERM standards for governance.
• Support root cause analysis and action plans for risk issues and incidents.
• Document risk issues in GRC and produce timely reporting for risk forums.
• Create analytics for risk forums, monitor trends, and escalate as needed.
