Job summary

Hover is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our growing finance team at our SF hub. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product to translate financial data into strategic actions and plan resources accordingly.

You will own monthly closes, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis for GTM and product investments, partnering with G&A to deliver clear, executive-ready reporting. This role blends analytics with business influence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a finance business-partner role with strong forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning experience.
• Ability to build models from scratch with ambiguous inputs, including scenario modeling.
• Outstanding communication skills — able to distill complex analysis for any audience, from analysts to executives.
• Fluency with AI tools as part of your everyday workflow.
• Extreme attention to detail paired with a service mindset.
• Experience with financial planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Pigment); Hover plans in Drivetrain.

Responsibilities

• Own business-partner relationships across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Design, and Data.
• Drive analysis that turns past data into actionable plans.
• Influence where Hover invests next.
• Raise the bar on how Hover's finance function operates.
