Job Description Summary

The Senior Finance Director supporting the World Wide UCC Business Unit reports directly to the VP of Finance and collaborates closely with Platform VP/GM’s, VP of Strategy, VP of R&D, and the BU President. The role involves providing essential financial and business support to facilitate effective decision-making by these leaders.

The Senior Finance Director supporting the WW UCC Business Unit reports to the VP of Finance and works closely with Platform leadership and the BU President. The role requires delivering financial insights and support to aid strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on global operating results, with a focus on the US, presenting findings to Business Leaders and Segment teams.
• Oversee Platform Finance Business partners.
• Lead the preparation of monthly WW UCC GOC and OC reports for the WW President and VP of Finance.
• Coordinate with departmental management on US month-end close activities.
• Develop and consolidate the UCC Global & US Annual Strategic Review, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
• Support new business initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures, licensing, and product development.
• Provide insights to identify risks and opportunities, aiming for budget exceeding performance.
• Advise management on business trends and issues.
• Support strategic execution and business goal achievement.
• Manage, mentor, and provide feedback to finance staff.
• Foster an engaged, accountable team environment.
• Build strategic and organizational knowledge continually.
• Seek professional development to enhance skills and capabilities, with potential for advancement within Finance.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in accounting or finance.
• MBA, CPA, or progress toward these credentials preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Business Analytics, Controllership, or related fields.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in large organizations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, including understanding valuation metrics (IRR, MIRR, NPV, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with JDE, Business Intelligence, HFM, and BPC is a plus.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10-20%).
