Job summary

Andritz seeks a dedicated and experienced financial professional to join our team as Business Controller. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and analysis to ensure financial health and sustainability.

You will manage the controlling staff, provide strategic guidance, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include leading the budgeting process, preparing quarterly forecasts, and collaborating with CFO and VP of Finance on audits and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
• 5-8 years experience in progressively mid to senior-level financial or accounting/audit positions, ideally with a large international corporation.
• Demonstrated supervisory capabilities and strong financial analysis and corporate reporting experience.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems; report writing using Andritz systems; OLAP tools would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of quarterly financial forecasts and long-term financial plans.
• Provide financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, business controlling, and financial reporting for US and Canadian divisions.
