Job summary

ANDRITZ BCN, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting policy development, general ledger oversight, and financial reporting in support of the President. The role emphasizes internal controls, budgeting coordination, and liaison with auditors and legal counsel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a controller role, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with SAP/SAGE 500 and MS Office. MBA or CPA/CFA credentials are preferred. This is a senior, on-site position in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, statistics, or economics.
• 5+ years' experience as a Controller or similar role.
• CPA/CFA/CTP/FP&A preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
• Proficient with SAP/SAGE 500 and general ledger systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies; maintain ledgers and records.
• Coordinate with President on control of operations, budgeting and capital planning.
• Review and endorse budget proposals; discuss changes.
• Compare performance against plans and report results to management.
• Ensure data integrity; manage orders, policy adherence, and record retrieval.
• Establish and administer tax policies and procedures; file reports.
• Supervise preparation of government reports and assist executives as needed.
