Sky is seeking an accounting professional to lead month-end close for assigned entities, ensuring accurate ledgers and robust controls. You will coordinate with the offshore RTR team and UK finance stakeholders to keep the close on schedule.

You’ll own balance sheet reconciliations, prepare journals and variance analysis, and support audits and system upgrades. This hybrid role is based in Livingston with SAP-based process improvements.

Formación

• Part-qualified accountant or by experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Experience in large or complex organisations and strong controls.
• Proficient Excel and ERP system experience (SAP preferred).
• Clear communicator with stakeholders in finance and non-finance.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end close and journal preparation, including accruals and reclassifications.
• Ensure ledger accuracy, complete reconciliations, and explain material movements.
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L analysis with variance commentary.
• Own or review balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany settlements.
• Support internal and external audits, statutory accounts, and tax queries.
• Maintain desktop procedures and process documentation.
• Escalate and mentor offshore RTR teammates; drive process improvements.
