Job summary

Hinterland Group LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller/FP&A to manage the monthly close and financial reporting while guiding forward-looking planning. This hybrid role blends accounting discipline with strategic analysis to deliver accurate statements and actionable insights across projects and portfolios.

You will prepare management reports, support budgeting, build financial models, and partner with operations and leadership to improve forecast accuracy and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Provide variance analysis vs budget and prior periods.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for planning and insight.
• Prepare board- and leadership-level reporting materials.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to improve forecast accuracy and margin visibility.
