Job summary

Tideworks Technology in Seattle is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Hybrid role focused on month-end close and procure-to-pay in a SaaS environment. You will ensure accurate GL entries, assist with audits, and drive process improvements across ERP systems.

You will collaborate with department leaders, manage supplier invoices, POs, and reconciliations, and contribute to automation initiatives to scale the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a software or SaaS company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite (required).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Procure-to-Pay & General Ledger: supplier-invoice processing, PO matching, vendor maintenance, payments, accruals, reconciliations.
• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and statements.
• Systems & Process Improvements: ERP implementation, automation of reporting and processes.
• Planning, Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration: assist budget prep, ad-hoc analyses, audits, cross-department work.
