Qualifications

• Four year degree in business discipline required.
• Four+ years experience in finance, accounting, regulatory or related field.
• Experience with monthly close processes preferred.
• Some audit experience preferred.
• CPA is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly close and quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Provide value-added financial services to internal and external customers
• Review and interpret financial reporting proposals from governing bodies
• Prepare analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data
• Develop comprehensive financial data reports for internal and external customers
• Identify, research, and recommend solutions for reporting issues
• Assist with adoption of new reporting requirements
• Gather data and prepare regulatory schedules, pro-forma calculations, testimony, and data requests
• Assist with review and analysis of regulatory documents
• Document work fully and accurately
• Identify, analyze, and improve organizational processes
• Collaborate between corporate and business units to develop solutions
• Support emergency response efforts when required
