Job summary

Clorox Brita R&D in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Senior Scientist to lead filtration product development and scale-up across the Brita portfolio. You will drive technical programs with cross-functional teams, translating consumer needs into robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in R&D, product development, or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own Filtration Product Development and Scale-Up: Develop and refine filter formulations, product specifications, process parameters, and performance requirements through lab experimentation, pilot trials, and full-scale manufacturing.
• Lead Complex Technical Programs: Identify, lead, and execute new product development and technical initiatives to clarify ambiguity and drive technical plans.
• Lead Cross-Functional Technical Decisions: Serve as the R&D technical lead across Marketing, Insights, Design, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and external partners.
• Drive External Partner and Manufacturing Excellence: Partner with filtration tech suppliers and manufacturers to meet requirements and launches.
• Elevate Best Practices and Capability: Create, approve, and educate teams on best practices, test methods, and training.
