Job summary

Clorox’s Brita R&D team in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Senior Scientist to lead device, systems, and packaging development and scale-up across the Brita portfolio. You’ll translate consumer needs into robust specifications, manage complex programs, and work with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of R&D, product development, or device engineering experience.
• Experience in device/systems development, packaging, or small consumer electronics.
• Strong technical depth and transferable experience across relevant industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership for Brita device, systems, and packaging development and scale-up.
• Lead undefined, complex technical programs and drive decisions that balance speed, feasibility, and impact.
• Collaborate across Marketing, Design, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external partners to deliver commercialization-ready solutions.
