Job summary

Clorox is seeking an R&D Product Development Scientist 2 to drive technical excellence in consumer and professional product formulations. You will translate scientific insights into impactful product solutions while collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Insights, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, and Digital Data teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Education and expertise in at least one of: aqueous oxidants/kinetics, organic chemistry/surfactants, and water soluble polymers.
• Experience in evaluation, characterization, and measurement of technology in their area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation by developing novel product formulations and consumer-facing claims.
• Execute with Excellence by troubleshooting formulation challenges and generating data.
• Own the Technical Details and document novel solutions for IP protection if applicable.
• Support Commercialization by developing SOPs, test methods, and leading product testing.
