Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is seeking an instructor for distribution lineworker training. The role develops, revises, delivers, and evaluates training programs across the service territory, with potential travel up to 40% annually.

Candidates must hold a CDL Class A license, a high school diploma or GED, and have three years of instructor-led or on-the-job training experience related to overhead distribution linework. Strong communication and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent with journey-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates overhead distribution linework activities such as climbing wood poles and working aloft from aerial devices.
• Provides training, coaching, guidance, and leadership to less-experienced Operations Training employees and guest instructors.
• Plans, coordinates, delivers and documents assigned training activities safely and professionally using adult learning principles.
• Develops and revises assigned training courses.
• Performs training needs analysis to identify job performance and training needs.
• Manages training classes to meet client needs and schedules with minimal impact on work.
• Oversees training facilities and proctors distribution lineworker assessment exams.
